Think for Yourself, Live for the World, says TIME4THINKERS.COM, the Christian Science youth site. We’ve found global thinkers eager to explore new ideas –and do something about them –one subway stop away at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). A student there, just beginning her spiritual quest, found ideas at the RR that brought her a radiant sense of self-worth. She couldn’t keep it to herself. She encouraged the RR to do what others do on campus — distribute flyers. She helped us create and hand out simple, appealing flyers that highlighted both online and “in-store” resources. The flyer showed two websites which could immediately be accessed on smartphones and the storefront address to aid any impulse to visit.
We know many young adults consider themselves “spiritual but not religious.” This student helped us find the language to convey that the spiritual resources at the RR speak authentically to anyone’s concerns about identity, relationships, success and lasting purpose.
